Becoming Visible

What would Jesus say to me, if we met?

Posted by: jeswitts on: November 16, 2007

I was tagged with a meme  by Mike from Simply a Night Owl, which originated with Jim of Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!

The question to be blogged:  What would Jesus say to me, if we met?

What would Jesus say to me, if we met?

Here is a bit of journaling I did at a retreat a while back. It still fits.

Stacie, I love you more than you understand. Constantly center yourself on the core of all of life, which is Love. Respect yourself, your journey, and reach for the depths of compassion as you travel with my children in this world. That is where you will find you peace and joy. This is how you can share my love. Serve me by serving the family of creation with gladness. Your witness of humility and joy and peace in the midst of your storms will transform you, and the people you journey with. You are not alone. You never were. You never will be.

Stacie,

Thanks for participating, and thanks for the post, which is right on the money. I have added a link to the original post at http://lordibelievehelpmyunbelief.blogspot.com/2007/11/wwjs-to-me.html.

I stand and applaud your post. This was simply “AWESOME”. Stacie, you are a champion in the cause and I wish that I had 1/10th of the compassion that you have for people.

Awesome, just awesome response to this meme.

About Becoming Visible

Hi, I am Stacie. This blog is about how I understand life, God, Christ, Community, whatever crosses my mind. It is largely about coming out, or becoming visible in my denomination. I took the name from my journal...something I wrote to explain to myself why it feels important that I start living more openly. You can read that by clicking here.
I am captured by the Jesus revealed in the gospels, and attempt to follow the path he left toward the Kingdom, where all are loved, respected, and find wholeness. I live this discipleship to Christ among the saints of the Community of Christ.  Click around, Make yourself at home.

A Saints Blogitorium

I just discovered this new blog.  It's called Saints Herald and has the depth of conversation I've been longing for.  Thanks to the folks who are putting this together.
